Raised in Co. Tyrone in Ireland, Jimmy Sweeney comes from a long line of musicians on both sides of his family.  A grandson of the renowned traditional Irish ballad singer Sarah Makem, Jimmy grew up surrounded by traditional music and song and was one of the founders of the well known Irish folk group Barley Bree.

Guitarist-fiddler Kevin Roach, originally from Pictou Co. Nova Scotia, has a long and varied musical career playing rock, country, bluegrass and Irish traditional music. Kevin currently plays fiddle for Irish dancing at the Old Triangle’s regular Sunday afternoon Celtic session.

Together Jimmy and Kevin bring you Irish ballads, old and new, plus Maritime songs, shanties and lively fiddle tunes served up in a rocking kitchen party atmosphere. Jimmy and Kevin do all your favorites to get you singing, dancing and clapping along.
